HMS Hawke

Badges (2) – Photograph (PWDRO 244/4 & 244/5); before 1914

These carved wooden badges are of hawks, facing one another. HMS Hawke was built at Chatham Dockyard, launched in 1891 and sunk by a U-boat in 1914 (HMS Hawke).
